FACTS
The Institute was established in the year 1983 as one of the premier engineering institutes of the region. The Govt. of Maharashtra has granted an "A" Grade to the institute. It is affiliated to the Nagpur University and is approved by the Allindia Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Council of Architecture (New Delhi). MIET has a well equipped library, workshop and drawing studios amongst other numerous facilities.
